I’m Amanda, and teaching is more than a career for me.

This is my wonderful family – husband Brad, son Calvin, daughter Dorothy, and me. Baby E is on the way!

When I decided to pursue a degree in education, I knew “teacher” would be my job title.

What I didn’t realize was that teaching itself would become my passion.

Having taught in public, private, and homeschool settings, I discovered helping my students learn, achieve, and unlock potential they’ve yet to realize always lights a warm and cozy fire in me. Now as a mom to two elementary schoolers, with another future student on the way, I’m happily teaching my own children, and eager to come alongside other students — and their families — who could use a little extra guidance, direction, and nurturing for both their minds and hearts.

It would be my honor to help your child stretch their limits and discover the life-long learners they can become.
